Vendor Selection:
Submitting this application does not guarantee that your food truck will be selected to participate in Walter’s Oktoberfest.
Applications are reviewed separately and are also based on a first paid, first served basis.
Food trucks MUST HAVE PROOF OF LICENSE IN COLORADO IF THEY DO NOT HOLD A FOOD LICENSE WITH THE COUNTY OF PUEBLO.
Cancelations & No Shows:
Food vendors cannot cancel their commitment once your full vendor fee payment has been processed.
Vendor fees are not refundable at any time, so please make sure that your schedule and availability matches the event dates which you have committed to.
RAIN OR SHINE: This is a rain or shine event. This means that we intend to continue with the event through "rain, or shine."
Host may cancel, postpone, shorten, relocate, or modify the Event because of severe weather, fire, governmental order, public-health concerns, utility interruption, public-safety concerns, labor disruption, emergency, or another circumstance beyond Host’s reasonable control. Vendor acknowledges that such circumstances may affect attendance, operating hours, sales, or Vendor’s ability to participate. Except as expressly stated in writing by Host, Vendor is not entitled to reimbursement for travel, lodging, labor, supplies, inventory, equipment, lost profits, or other costs.
If Host cancels the Event before it begins, Host will provide any refund or credit expressly designated by Host in writing, subject to any stated administrative or nonrecoverable costs.
Liability & Insurance:
Walter's is not responsible for any damages, stolen property, or injuries to vendors property, employees, or guests. Vendors are solely responsible for providing insurance coverage for their business operations and other related liabilities.
Housekeeping & Health Department Requirements:
Vendor is solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses, permits, registrations, inspections, and approvals required for Vendor’s operations. This includes but not limited to requirements regarding Health Department requirements, food safety, fire safety, sales tax revenue reporting, ect. Please make sure that electrical cords, power generators, and other equipment are not obstructing safety.
Outside Alcohol:
Vendors may not sell, serve, furnish, distribute, provide, or permit the consumption of alcoholic beverages in connection with Vendor’s operations at the Event. Vendor may not bring alcoholic beverages into the Event for sale, service, sampling, promotion, or distribution.
Proper & Current Licenses Required: Up To Date Food Licenses and Required Health Department Forms MUST BE DISPLAYED and on file. You must display these forms:
Provide own Gas Powered Source & Other Supplies: Each truck MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN GAS POWERED SOURCE. Walter’s does not and can not provide an electrical outlet to plug into. Our building’s accessible electrical power outlets DO NOT provide enough power to support both our taproom needs as well as the needs of a single food truck. Please provide any other operational equipment and supplies you need.
Shelter & Shading: Trucks must provide their own shelter/shading equipment for all weather elements. Just as any other outdoor food court/festival event, our food court is an outdoor space with no roofing structures.
Flexibility: Please be flexible on any changes that may arise. We do our best to accommodate every food truck's individual logistical needs but realize that last minute changes may need to occur and miscommunications sometimes happen. Patron vehicles may need to be moved at the time of your truck’s arrival. Our staff will be happy to help ask patrons to relocate their vehicles if they are in your way.
Behavior & Etiquette: We wish to promote and ingrain a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere, not only for our customers but also for our collaborating food truck partners. We invite and expect you to provide the same friendly and enjoyable atmosphere to your customers during their visit in the Walter’s Food Courts as well as to the neighboring food truck ‘court mates' who are also serving on our property.
Professional and cordial behavior to other truck owners and staff is expected from all truck owners and their staff while serving at Walter’s. If you are unsatisfied with a change or arrangement made, or miscommunication by the Walter’s team, please speak with a Walter’s contact provided on this sheet and DO NOT approach other trucks in an unprofessional manner. Disrespectful or unprofessional behavior WILL NOT BE TOLERATED while a part of the Walter’s Food Court partnership. In the event that a food truck party behaves in a notably unprofessional manner, Walter’s has the right to discontinue future bookings temporarily or permanently. NO EXCEPTIONS!
